I’m constantly
impressed by the points a smart phone are able to do nowadays. Joe Satriani
mentioned in a recent interview in Guitar World which he demoed every one of
the tracks for his latest album on his iPhone as part of his resort rooms on
tour.
I’ve done some
digging and develop of the coolest and quite a few useful smart phone guitar
apps around. We’ve all seen the apps that permit you to strum just a little
guitar on your phone. Consider you've got a real guitar; we’ll pay attention to
apps that really help practicing the guitar training and productivity.
Riff master Pro -
For a long time it's been my personal favorite program to decelerate music
with. Just the thing for slowing down those lightening fast solos to help you
hear what’s happening and studies it. You might have selecting changing the
pitch you aren't. $4.99 and intended for iPhone
Amplitube -
effects/amps - Here is the big daddy for amp and effect modeling. It really
works for guitar and bass and includes recording capabilities. 11 stomp boxes,
5 amps, 5 speaker cabs, and a couple of mics. You are able to import and export
tracks and modify their tempos. Also includes a vocal/lead guitar remover. This
is the must-have. $19.99. They also have an LE version (2.99) along with a free
version. Also requires iRig to plug playing the guitar in to the phone. $39.99
Designed for iPhone.
Everyday Looper -
One of the better solutions to practice your leads is as simple as looping a
chunk of music to learn over. This app does the job admirably. $5.99 and
readily available for iPhone
